At some point, I wanted a dog like Nana when we had kids. When I saw this cel, it seemed to pick up a number of the images of childhood. This is the sequence where Nana is putting the block back together after they were all knocked down.

I thought the painted background was really quite good. In some cases, Disney artists would prepare non-production backgrounds, but much of the time the backgrounds were simple color gradients.
