"101 Dalmatians" (1961) - Cruella DeVil Cel

To me, Cruella didn't seem to fall into the same category of "evil" as some of the earlier "bad guys." Some of the earlier villains seemed to have a more demonic edge to them and Cruella seemed to fall into the category of "corporate bad guy." A story of personal profit based on some environmental sacrifice (puppies, baby seals, the environment, etc.). Cruella was more Nasty than the good vs. evil type of villain. However, Cruella is aways a good addition to a collection.

I liked this cel of Cruella because the image does a good job of representing her basic character -- the Cruella we all know and hate. Nice full face. Nice sinister look. A villain on a mission...in her Panther De Ville Convertible! The background isn't the Master for the scene, but is a background from the production.
